Kosmonauta is based upon one of the well-known, but historically dubious, Lost Cosmonaut recordings of the Judica-Cordiglia brothers.

Whilst I doubt that anyone who frequents these boards attaches a shred of credibility to the brothers' work, I nevertheless thought the movie might be of interest.
